Animal Ethics - What You Mean by Veganism?
Lori: Alice has had a long history with thinking about animal ethics from a fairly traditional point of view. She says she convinced Singer to make the case for veganism when he was helping him revise animal liberation in the early 1980s. Lori: When I went back to graduate school after spending about six years doing activist work, I was able to dive into feminist philosophy and found that my utilitarian leanings weren't serving me at all.
