The Clock of the Future?
People still needed more precise clocks to work together, even after gears and pendulums like satellites. So we keep making better and better clocks, and that's something scientists are still working on. Maybe in the future, clocks will be like waking you up with the smell of bacon, or something that sounds untime and delicious. But that would probably just make me want to sleep even more and just have dreams about bacon.
