The Map Is Not the Territory

A mental model is, and this is in the great mental models, volume one, the map is not the territory. Most of us think of maps, prior to smart phones, as this foldable thing that you're going to take with you on a road trip or something wright n it's gen yor stick it in the back pocket of your car. But yet, when i grew up, that was like part of the right of passage, is getting maps when you got drivers yesdand i use that just because that's that's a picture that everybody can relate to.
