The way to try coping skills or coping mechanisms is to do them when you don't need them. The loneliness can be relieved by putting ourselves out there and trying new things. Be ruthless with this list. If one doesn't work or it's not that effective, it gets the cut, cross it out, add something else. Sometimes we're too late to reach for these.
