How to Use Shell in English

British English speakers often use shell to offer something to you or make a suggestion. But Americans wouldn't use it that way would they? They'd have to get rounded by using some other kind of grammatical structure. And I've got to tell you Craig that it's the same in Ireland. You'll rarely hear shell. We consider it excessively posh to us. It's a little bit kind of quaint when we hear it.
