The Importance of Character in Acting

I was discovered by John Singleton. He started coming at me as an intern working on the Arsenio Hall Show. I met him two years before doing the movie, and he just kind of popped up every now and then saying, I got this perfect movie for you. And I'm like, watch out, man. You know, movie. What are you talking about? I'm trying to be the best rapper in the world. Yeah. Tell our senior he need to have NWA on. No, did our senior know you were there? I'm glad I didn't see our senior. Because then I wouldn't have talked to John Singleton for so long.
