The Wild Side of Period Blood

The only way to officially diagnose somebody with endometriosis is to do laparoscopic surgery and surgically stage them. Cells in the menstrual blood of people who developendometriosis seem to have the ability to differentiate into endometrial tissue, so that usually harmless blood backwash turns into tissue where it shouldn't be. Almost all women with or without endometriosi experience quote retrograde menstruation. That is period blood flowing back up the fallopian tubes and into the abdominal cavity.
