The guy who I was thinking of was actually Thomas Young, the last man who knew everything. And he's best known for the decipherment of the hieroglyphics with the Rosetta stone. But he was also like, mainly a scientist, you know, it really is incomprehensible. There's the sense of the vision where it's like, okay, is it really that we just, like, have you, have we just gotten worse?
