In his new book, David Frum explores the anti-institution era we're in. He asks whether people are quick to turn on institutions because they've proven themselves untrustworthy. Dr. Fauci is an example of someone who told a noble lie and didn't understand how that would be received by the public he was trying to gain trust from. We do need to not tolerate noble lies, but develop some grace for again, like legitimate processes of trial and error, says Frum.
