The Communications Decency Act was a federal law that basically said this is what's appropriate to be on the Internet or not and it got thrown out by the Supreme Court. The de facto thing is that basically like the left can't directly say like you know like speech is illegal and we're going to like arrest citizens for it. But it can be circumvented through basically these kind of either civil suits, these kinds of just enormous financial penalties.
