The Story of the Sarong Dress
The sarong dress came from a bath towel. Halston created an invisible bra inside the dress and then he cut the dress on the bias. He used fabric called Abraham's silk, but they only made it 36 inches wide. So that was draped on the form and then on the top for the bunny ears.
