Herman and his colleagues typically stay for two full weeks, living in a hotel that's actually inside the exclusion zone. The amount of radiation we accumulate is half of what you get in an hospital for a mammography or whatever 10% of a CTS scan of your brain. So it's not nothing, but it's not a lot.
