I would put hypnosis under the category of NSDR. There are now some NSDR scripts online if you just go to YouTube that you can just listen to. I use this Revery app that's researchbacked, revri.com. And I do a self hypnosis to put me back into sleep. If I can't sleep, just put me into a state of deep relaxation. So it's nice to focus not on those brain states, but instead on the shifting.
