A lot of marketers spend a lot of money and energy trying to get in front of people that are actively searching for solutions like theirs already. So what about the other 97 % of the market that doesn't know o look for a solution like yours like or doesn't realize that the thing that you do might help? And so this technique of doing these one on one interviews with people who have actually bought a product, is a marketor's best friend. For me, nothing has been as effective as helping me to quickly understand an audience as that technique.
