Are You Getting a Good or Bad Change in Microbiome?

A lot of people who have weight loss has a goal say I better switch over to some of these diet sodas and you know reduce sugar products that have artificial sweeteners in them. A lot of the actual longitudinal control evidence shows us that those concerns about messing up appetite regulation or glycemic control don't appear to be justified by the research. There are some studies looking at changes in gut microbiome but it's still really difficult for us in many circumstances to say whether or not that change was good or bad.
