The Importance of Trusting Yourself

I think we're in a really special time now where makeup artists are kind of being appreciated more as creative directors. I think there's so many makeup artists today who are producing their own images with just their friends and the people that they collaborate regularly. And I think that's proving to be successful because we, you know, as a makeup artist, I'm also, I also know lighting really well. I also know what I want the styling to tell with this character and the hair. Yeah, no, for me has nothing to do with budget because you can do the most incredible work on zero dollars. Probably more incredible because it's like, all right, we've got no money.
