My Uncle and Dad's Car Died Again

This incident took place about 40 years ago a few months after my grandfather my mom's dad passing. Here in Sri Lanka we give alms on the day that mark seven days and the subsequently three months and then yearly after a person's passing as a way to add merit to their account so to speak with hopes that they'll pass on to the afterlife and have a peaceful one from there after. This is done regardless of religion but mainly practiced by the Buddhist. So this was the day of my grandfather's three months alms giving and my mom, her eldest sister and youngest brother along with my grandmother decided to give lunch the less fortunate and hunger and then visit their father's grave in the evening
