The Differences Between Quarks and Gluons
Gluons are charged in color. In fact, gluons have two colors. A blue quark and green quark can swap colors by exchanging a gluon. So that's how the quarks add up. But then where do the gluons come in? The gluons are super duper weird and much more complicated than in electromagnetism.
