Toma makes a distinction between geometric knowledge and knowledge of the world around us. All signs of knowledge is reasoning from individuality so there's no way to perfectly know scientific things because all we ever encounter is individuals, he says. Toma argues that you can actually only do that that movement right that says we are at least enough out of the system to be able to examine it in some way as our intellect is immaterial.
