The Argument for Miracles, Is It True?

David hume was the eighteenth century scottish philosopher who argued that since miracles violate the laws of nature, we could never believe in them. To quote his famous dictum, no testimony is sufficient to establish a miracle, unless the testimony be of such a kind that its false would be more miraculous than the fact which it endeavours to establish. This idea of violation of a law fet uchmore easily into the realm of jurisprudence. And i think lewis has got it absolutely right to show that the problem lies in two concepts of law.
