The Indian Ocean Sunami Warning System

A man in india saved nearly his entire village of 15 hundred people from being killed by the waves. He had recently seen a national geographic documentary on sunamis, where he learned that quickly receding water signalled danger. Many wild animals were able to escape the sunami waves based on instinct. It seemed like many animals could sense what was about to happen before the massive waves hit. Scientists think that these animals may have sensed the earth's vibration change and alerted them to the oncoming sunami.
