How Does the Old Testament Connect to the New Testament?
He appeals to the Old Testament constantly in this work. At this point, the New Testament is so fresh and there's still going to be debates about which works are included in it. He borrows a lot of images from Paul, the head and the body. And everyone has to play their part. When they do, there will be mutual love and peace and concord. It's not just like we're going to be the military. It's a call to love and humility.
