What's Different About Quantum Particles Than a Cup of Tea?
The quantum system is much smaller than cup of tea, it contains much less because of freedom. It still has its own Hamiltonian that I can define and therefore I can define its own Gibbs state. The same process happened even if I'll talk about the quantum particle and throw it into a thermal bath, and ask what will happen. So, I think it's Gibbs state eventually it will evolve to a Gibbs state, and I can use it to extract work even with this quantum particle.
