The Importance of Conceptual Due Diligence in Venture Capital
I think people, you know, the sort of the kind of the conceptual due diligence that people do on companies is often quite lacking. And it's kind of like, you got to actually understand what they're doing and figure out things like is it going to work so to speak. I've tried to keep track of my lifetime of,. you know, things where I thought this was going to happen but then took an extra 25 years or something else happened instead. It might be just fine for the hype to be running for those five or 10 years. You know, if your goal is pure investment, it can be a worthwhile approach.
