The Self Defence Law Is Like a Monopoly on Violence
Self defence law is a rule of exception that's carved out in the states monopoly on violence. The reason batteries will have yeor criminal is because the state has a monarch. Even he hasn't exception for duelling, right? Like theres i mean, he's also light. He has exception for slavery, but that's another discussion,. But even the guide is like, categorial imperative. So i do think there is something fundamental in how we think about what violence is and whos allow to enact it. We'd have to get at the root of if we really want to have discussions about the right to self defence or provocation.
