The Traumatized Believer Phase of Faith Crisis
Nathan: Once we hit the traumatized believer phase, people go in one of two directions. They enter into a phase of nuanced belief and navigated their relationship with the church in a variety of different ways. Some built or rebuilt a shelf where they put unresolvable doubts and concerns. Others choose to ignore doctrinal and cultural elements that spiritually do not work for them.
