Is It Important to Learn Openings?
Even at high level, I think you really need to spend a lot of time calculating and things. Things Indian is a type of defense that involves calculation, how fast you are. So really it is important to have that basic knowledge with classical opening in my opinion. And don't forget, openings are great and I do think it's important to learn them. But there are other parts of the game that people neglect because they think the openings are the most important.
