Bob Greene's new book, Chapel Paralless, is about his life and work. He says the title refers to a journey through what he calls "the chapel perilous" The term was borrowed from T.S. Eliot in one of his works; it also comes from British folklorist Jesse Weston. This interview has been edited for length and clarity.
