A group of girls at a reformatory run away for 14 days, 30 times higher than normal. The idea that an idea is contagious was the focus of Marino's research. He and his co-researchers tried to see how the idea of running away travels through the community. Their map shows two girls who start the epidemic are closely bound to each other but isolated from others.
