The Importance of Adapting to City's Form
A third central defender, a second holding midfielder might have helped us. I think City playing like they did yesterday could have swept pretty much anybody aside. But with the form that we were in, particularly on the defensive side of the game, we might have been better advised to adapt and to be a little bit more conservative. The accuracy of the pass and crucially the way that they won those duels under that ball was, you know, dramatically different. And, yeah, they just took us apart really on that opening goal.
