Why Damien Decided to Suicide

Some have described damien's car as ransacked, as if some one was searching the car for something to use as a ligature. Those who think damien is murdered believe this is significant. But it's just as likely that if Damien's decision to kill himself was spontaneous, he would have been desperately searching his own car forsomething to use in the attempt. This goes to the not caring about the future, right? Who cares what his car looks like? He's not going to come back to the car. And that just has to be what it was.
