Borlate was Castillo's deputy and in order to maintain any kind of democratic facade for this new government, she should have been their best bet. Usually they hoped that she would be tolerable or at least palatable to enough of the Peruvian masses that could get away with this. And that's been a catastrophic failure. The pressure is so much, the pressure of public opinion against Dinavoluarte is so strong that even some of the regional governors and regional elected authorities have come out openly demanding his resignation. They might try a number of tricks, one trick they call try is the resignation of Borlate to be replaced by the president of Congress who will be the next one
