You had to put your dog to sleep the other day. Are you at peace with it? I'm not sure how to answer that because philosophically or morally or, you know, yes, dogs die. They get cancer. There's nothing that the moral order has not been ripped apart by this event. It's easier to let yourself feel as bad as you feel or feel whatever grief you feel without trying to shut it down for the rest of your life. That my little comforts.
