Are Closer Relationships More Honest?
There is one context in which there's a kind of conceit that this paradox of honesty doesn't exist. I think the norms of honesty are extremely strong in intellectual pursuits, right? But maybe am intellectual activity, intellectual inquiry, like what we're doing right now, would just be weird if i were lying to you. Well, i think you just tha t longer than you'll be able to imagine these things.
