Democrats are on track to leave more than 60 cial vacanciis open at the end of this year, which is important because the senate might flip back to republican control. I don't think that mitch mc connell will allow byden to confirm one more judge to a federal appeal's court, let alone the supreme court. And so there's an incredible urgency, or there should be, a sense of horror about this impending disaster and a desire to stave it off with filling every single seat.
