"I was just trying to get some of it. So I was hanging around and then they went on and killed it," he says about Ronnie Hawkins' band. "They said, all right, you know, the hotel, won't you come by? And I would just try to make myself useful." He wrote a song called Someone Like You but Adele stole that title from him.
