There are lots of people in India who have blue-eyes, a recessive genetic characteristic. Less than one percent of Indians would have blue-eye; other eye colors include green and grey eyes. Gautam Buddha is described as having blue eyes but no account describes him with blonde hair or hair that is not dark.
