The Samara Culture in Northern Mesopotamia
The predominant culture of northern mesopotamia was the hale a culture, which may have emerged around six thousand years ago. Another distinguishable culture emerged to the northeast of the helapian called the hessona. The hussoona would then appear to develop a strong cultural link to the samara culture, which developed to the south. This is a bit of a guess based on archaeological evidence, so it may not accurately be the case, but it's an educated guess. Could this have been the beginning of the end of the halef culture southern mesopotamia?
