How Did You Become a Musician?
In my culture, women weren't usually encouraged to play music. My parents were a little bit apprehensive. They helped me pay for some of my lessons when they could and my mom bought me a cassette recorder from the grocery store where I recorded lots of distorted recordings to myself. And eventually the years of learning how to play guitar led me to writing my own songs. It was like as young as that age, but it felt like a dream. This just seems like fantasy. How does anyone become a musician? How do they do that?
