Ray Crock and Joan Smith

Ray Crock was the CEO of McDonald's from 1964 to 1967. He resigned in early 1967, handing over control of daily operations to Fred Turner. Soneborn sold all of his stock, 11% of the company's entire equity for $12 million. The former CEO retired to his mobile Alabama estate and disappeared from American corporate landscape.
