We see these very simple creatures in our environments doing extremely complex things And how is that happening when there's barely a brain to speak of? In my book I even went further and said if you just look at a Venus fly trap, right? It exhibits what seems to be fairly sophisticated logical behavior. Connected that we know now that a lot of the way emergent flexing happens is you take very simple rules and you plug them in together. Just a handful of simple rules can end up exhibiting extremely complex behavior like ants colony use like bird blocking.
