Lois Lerner directed the section of the IRS under Barack Obama that targeted conservatives for their political beliefs. The Department of Justice appointed a special prosecutor in charge of the case who was a major Democratic donor to give in about $6,000 to Barack Obama and the Democrats. When she defied Congress and was held in contempt, once again, the Department of Justice refused to prosecute her.
