The Uncanny Qualities of the Dead

Part two of freud's 19 19 paper, the uncanny. Death maintains a strong emotional reaction for us and has proved to be resistant to scientific analysis. The psychoanalytic cure is one which seeks to lay bare hidden forces so that what should have maind hidden can be brought to light. Next week will looking at part three, the final part of freud't uncanny.
