The Myth of the Dominator's Culture

He says, imagine we codify that. We try to make them look ridiculous for aspiring to have nice things or whatever. The dominated persons would perhaps in self-defense deny the truth of the codification. They say, no, it's not. I just want to look nice or whatever. As they deepened their analysis, however, they would begin to perceive that their apparent imitation of the dominator's models is a result of their interiorization of these models. And above all, the myths of the superiority of the dominant classes that caused the dominated to feel inferior.
