Is the Future of AI So Uncertain?

How could we prepare for a future that we don't know how it exists? Like I just talking to Brian Johnson. We couldn't possibly know what a good human looks like in 2050, because we have so little knowledge of the ways in which we're going to change. How do we get better at that? Some combination of training yourself to not over consume on a media diet and then practice holding yourself accountable when you were wrong.
