The Ghost of Charles Augustus Murray
In 1837, William Cox saw a strange creature in Buckingham Palace. He reported it to palace constables and they searched the property by candlelight. They found items that had been stolen from Queen Victoria's own bedroom. The intruder was actually a teenage boy covered head to toe in soot. It is one of the first celebrity stalkers in recorded history.
