Seniors in the Senior Care Industry - Is Florida a Better State?
Seniors should understand that if they move to a state with a lower tax rate, the services offered by the state may be dramatically different. I've worked in the senior care industry for four years and have explained to many yankees that what they got from their previous state won't be what they get in florida. A lot of people who do move from connecticut, new jersey, a newyork, where taxes are much, much higher, and resent those taxes. Also, there may be a situation where suddenly you're wearing a second hat, and you miss some of the things that government, maybe not so efficiently, but government did in that part of the country.
