What's a State of Employment in India?

Rits or india experienced a job growth of three % in the seventies when we look back. But over the last three decades, our economy has grown at a much faster pace. And yet, our job growth has been close to only one % per annum in the last so many years. So with 18 million people in india turning 18 every year, we need lots of jobs in india. We also have a large number of people who seem to be surplus in agriculture with our agricultural productivity being low.
