Is It Possible to Charge Someone for an Opportunity?
Zippy Catholic was the name of a unfortunately now deceased man who worked in finance. He came to think that legitimately only things that had real existence could legitimately be charged for. So he became an ardent defender of the traditional Catholic prohibition on taking any interest on a loan. If we want to say that things have real economic value, then I think we have to question whether or not you can legitimately charge for something that doesn't have existence and like opportunity.
