How Much Time Does It Take to Develop a New Missile?
The time taken to develop a new missile has become shorter. In 1980s the ecosystem was not evolved whether it is the research in academia or the R&D of things various technologies subsystems what you require are various infrastructure in the country and industry coming up and all that. The systems are developed on various platforms like today we have Brahmo's on the ship, medium range surface to air missiles on the ships and we are also developing short range missiles on these. A lot of marine applications related technologies and missile systems are also developed and being developed today.
